Grace Salter is the Conference and Events Manager for the Office of Continuing Education and Conferences at the University of South Carolina. She works with many clients, both internal and external, on all of their conference and event planning needs. She previously served as the Agency Advancement Coordinator for the South Carolina Department of Archives and History where she led public relations and community outreach efforts and assisted with their rebranding initiative.
A Columbia native, Grace has a passion for serving the community. She will complete her role as President of Historic Columbia’s Palladium this year and has been involved with the organization since 2014. She has held many roles including Bluegrass Bidding & BBQ Silent Auction co-chair, Secretary, and Vice President before accepting the role as President in 2018. In addition to her service to Historic Columbia, Grace is very involved with the Columbia Museum of Art and has served on their annual Gala Committee for the past three years. She previously served as Vice President of the Devine Street Association.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina, she received her Bachelors of Arts in Art History and a minor in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management in 2013.
