1. Web Programmer / Developer
The Web Programmer / Developer will be responsible for the creation and modification of university web pages within the current environment and under assigned deadlines for the Department of Student Life. Development will include both management-driven and static content to enhance the current web presence and meet strategic business objectives. Update and maintain a framework for the Department of Student Life's presence on the Web. Advise on methods of content delivery. Recommend and implement Web strategies to maintain Student Life's relevance to its audience. Assignments will be coordinated within ten functional areas of Student Life.
2. Information Resource Consultant I
Will provide a suite of dataware, web-enabled, portals and applications for a variety of customers throughout the State of South Carolina. The position is a hands-on role responsible for supporting customers with technical related issues via walk-up, phone, email, and self service. This position will work in a team environment and must be able to function effectively with a minimal supervision. Assess, prioritize, route, and resolve requests in an efficient manner. Identify, diagnose, research and coordinate solution to ongoing technical issues. Assist in development of new or refined business and technical processes. Maintain working knowledge of all areas of HSSC technology infrastructure. Maintain documentation of support processes, ongoing technical issues, and workarounds. Perform active monitoring and respond to alerts within HSSC technology environment; escalate issues to appropriate teams in a timely manner.
