AAF of the Midlands News Alert (April 9, 2008):
The Board of Directors of AAF of the Midlands (formerly Columbia Ad Club) is excited about the launch of its new web site (www.aafmidlands.com) - with an official unveiling at the organization's April lunch program on Wednesday, April 9, 2008.
Board members unanimously approved the name change in August 2007 in order to enhance branding at the local, regional and national level and to more closely align the Midlands chapter as an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation, headquartered in Washington, DC.
The new site was designed by Anthony Amaker of Amaker Interactive and complements the AAF national site at www.aaf.org. In addition to a complete creative revision, Amaker also developed a more user-friendly control panel and infrastructure so that Board members can manage content independently and with limited need for external resources.This effort will save a significant amount of time and money for the organization.
Both members and non-members will benefit from more current information on industry programs and services in our community. A revised template has also been created for the organization's weekly/monthly e-mail blasts about upcoming events.
Effective Wednesday, April 9, the new web address for AAF of the Midlands is www.aafmidlands.com.
